Global Hospitality Security Solutions (GHSS) provides comprehensive safety and liability solutions for the worldwide hospitality industry. We offer expert leadership to attorneys and insurance firms during the pre-trial findings phase, while also preparing and reviewing safety and security policies and procedures for hospitality-focused companies.
Our services include hotel security assessments, physical risk evaluations, and analysis of worker safety programs, with a specialization in OSHA’s General Industry Rule. We oversee OSHA/Cal OSHA inspections and responses, coordinate disaster response teams, and support independent security firms in need of hotel industry expertise. Additionally, we provide guidance during construction and remodeling, evaluate CCTV and access controls, assess security department capabilities, develop business continuity plans, and offer leadership for high-profile events.

Salvatore “Sal” Caccavale is the Principal of Global Hospitality Security Solutions, a hospitality security and safety consultant and forensic liability expert with more than four decades of lodging-industry experience.
Sal began his hospitality security career with Hilton Hotels Corporation in 1983 and went on to hold security leadership positions at multiple Hilton-branded properties and within the broader Hilton organization.
Throughout his career, he has worked with hotel executives, ownership and management organizations, law-enforcement agencies, attorneys, insurers, and risk professionals on hospitality security and safety matters.
His industry recognition includes the Thomas G. Davis Loss Prevention Lifetime Award and Hilton’s Global Spirit of Pride Award. He has also received recognition from local, state, and federal law-enforcement organizations for his professional collaboration and assistance.
